Welcome to Ramcom Trucks and Load Bodies (Pty) Ltd

Ramcom is a group of Companies that operates out of Three main offices, two located in George and one in Cape Town. Each site specializes in different operations.

At our Head office based in Extension Road George, we specialize in Fire Engine manufacturing all types of different truck bodies and trailers as well as mechanical services and repairs.

Our second office in George is Outeniqua Truck and Bus, OTB specialises in Accident repairs and maintenance to all makes of trucks and buses.

Our Cape Town Office is located in Range road Blackheath and here we specialize in the repair and maintenance of Fire fighting vehicles.

We have over the past 33 years, produced almost every conceivable type of load body. These assignments have ranged from load bodies, tippers, tankers, trailers, chassis modification and many specialised units.

We see ourselves as partners to all commercial vehicle dealers and we constantly work to improve our service by reducing the turnaround time on all projects, in turn providing quality workmanship on every job we tackle. We strive to provide the best service possible, at all times.

Fire Engine Manufacturing

The fire engine manufacturing department focuses on both the manufacturing of new fire fighting vehicles as well as repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles.

Trailer Manufacturing

Trailers are a major part of our production line, this includes semi-trailers, interlinks and drawbar trailers.

Panel Shop

The panel shop mainly focuses on the repairs or replacement of cabs, body repairs, and chassis straightening.

Load Body Manufacturing

The load body manufacturing division includes the manufacturing of any form of a rigid van, taught liner, cattle or tanker bodies.
